The four basic operations consist of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. These teaching resources contains a presentation explaining the basic operation with animated examples, an excel spreadsheet with randomly generated questions and automated marking that could be used as a lesson starter, and question and answer sheets with over 200 questions. Contents The Four Basic Operations.pptx A power point explaining each of the four basic operations with animated examples and questions. The Four Basic Operations - Random Questions.xlsm An excel spreadsheet (with macros) that randomly generates a question using one of the four basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division) and will show a smiley face or an unhappy face if the answer is correct or incorrect. This could be used as a starter for a lesson, or as a quick activity/refresher. The Four Basic Operations - Question Sheets.docx A word document containing questions and answer boxes, one page for each operation. This contains over 200 questions.
